A Closer Look - Home Inspection

A Closer Look, LLC is a Cedar Rapids based home inspection and real estate inspection business servicing all communities within about 80 miles. Expect a fast, detailed, and accurate home inspection or real estate inspection report. My detailed reports are printed on-site and typically contain 15-40 pictures and suggestions or recommendations for areas of concern. I will spend about 30-45 minutes reviewing the report with you on-site making sure all of your questions are answered. Your agent will also get a PDF file of the report often before the report review starts. In Cedar Rapids you typically have only 7 business days to lift the home inspection contingency. By having your report printed and reviewed with you on-site, you save days of many other inspectors. With all the pictures that are integrated into the report, you will save time by understanding the report visually as well as verbally and in writing. Typically I can schedule your inspection just a few days out, but sometimes its longer depending the market.

Know What You're Buying -  A Closer Look, LLC provides a detailed (up to) 500 point home inspection report that is broken into 13 sections and 140 sub-sections.  After reviewing the report with you on site, you will feel confident that you know what you’re buying.

Know What You're Selling - If your seller's disclosure statement is inaccurate or incomplete, the buyer may request you to pay for costly repairs.  However, if you get a home inspection before negotiations begin, you can make necessary repairs or more accurately disclose issues about the home.  The sale will go smoother because you know what you're selling.
